When do you go straight for an IVF?

IVF can be a better option for patients who:

  • are OVER THE AGE OF 38
  • have BLOCKED FALLOPIAN TUBES
  • have REDUCED OVARIAN RESERVE 
  • decide to USE DONOR EGGS
  • suffer from ADVANCED ENDOMETRIOSIS
  • are dealing with SEVERE MALE-FACTOR INFERTILITY which may require the use of advanced technologies such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
  • may require GENETIC SCREENING OR GENETIC DIAGNOSIS (PGS or PGD)

* If you select, in laboratory 4-5 days after embryologist expert will carry out PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnostics) by NGS to screen for single-gene disorders or chromosomal translocations.

* EMBRYOSCOPE (special incubator) can be chosen to monitor your embryos development and hence select which of them are the best choice for implanting. 

*FENOMATCH software to select Semen's Donor Phenotype in case you decide to take advantage from an objective method for Donor selection.

* Initial Skype meeting Gynecologist to analyze your Medical History and schedule ovarian stimulation.

  • 1.- ALL IN ONE TRIP: 24h FOR IUI or 5-9 DAYS FOR FIV IN BARCELONA:

FIRST DAY (IUI OR FIV)

9h.-       Arrival at Clinic

9.15h.-   Meeting Gynecologist & Pelvic Ultrasound

9.45h.-  Blood work 

10h.-      Relax time to breakfast-brunch

10.15h.-  Eggs Retrival

10.45h.- Collecting partner sperm (or from a donor)

11.15h.-  In case of IUI, preparation and sedation, oocyte evaluation in laboratory and insemination or microinjection with sperm of couple or sperm donor and transfer embryo into uterus.

12.15h.-   Leaving Clinic to relax and enjoy a romantic WEEKEND in Barcelona.

SECOND DAY ONLY IN CASE OF IVF (4/5 days later)

9h.-       Meeting Gynecologist & Pelvic Ultrasounds

9.30h.-  Preparation and sedation

9.45h.-  Transfer embryo (blasto 4/5days)

10h.-      30´ Relaxation in Clinic

10.30h.- Leaving Clinic to celebrate your romantic moment in Barcelona
